Stephen Moran tells us he will be reading one of his horrible new stories at Studio 95 in the Willesden Library Centre, London (event starts 7:30 pm on Thursday, September 23rd. ) Plans are under way to re-animate zombies to provide a claque. Bopping the till will be Preethi Nair, Siobhan Curham and others.

Darkbloom

I see some excellent articles by my old friends Ossian Lennon (of Sloe Wine) and Feargal Mooney (of the Willesden Herald) have mushroomed in the Fall Edition. There's also a rather harsh review of Josh Davis's latest novel, The Muse and the Mechanism. It's a book that everybody ends up talking about. I found it pacy, interesting and honest, three things that I cannot say for very many books.*

Josh, if you're reading, the check still hasn't arrived.
